Iraqi Christians still need you

The demise of the Islamic State in Iraq should be good news, but for Christians, the current internal political tensions raise more fear.

The Kurds from the Iraqi Province of Kurdistan have, through a referendum, expressed their intent for full autonomy from Iraq. In response to this, the Iraqi government recently reclaimed some territories from the Kurds via a two day military operation.

The problem is that in 2014 the Christians escaped ISIS to find refuge by the thousands in the Kurdistan. If conflict erupts again, the Christian presence in Iraq will suffer yet another blow.

The majority of them still are in refugee camps in need of everything.

They count on you and me to get basic supplies, medical attention and much more.

Please be as generous as you can and let’s keep all Iraqis in our prayers as we pray for lasting peace.
